Itinerary
DAY 2: CITY TOUR - VALLEY OF THE MOON
Pick up from hotel to visit through La Paz secrets to enjoy the art of embroideres of typical costumes used in local festivities during the whole year in the city and its surroundings. Afterwards we will visit the historic downtown, observing some of the most important sites in the city, Plaza Murillo, the executive palace, the legislative palace, Methropolitan cathedral, Jaen street, (historic street that still preserves its colonial essence), a journey through the history of Bolivia in the museum of Ethnography and Folklore, San Francisco church, and the famous Witches Market. After lunch we continue with an out-of –this world visit in the Moon Valley and appreciate and aerial view of the city from the cable car. Tour ends in hotel.
OPTIONAL: visit to a ceramics workshop to appreciate the art of clay in vases.
DAY 3: TIWANAKU TITICACA LAKE
Pick up from hotel and ride to the city of El Alto on the Cable Car enjoying the landscapes of both cities through the skies. Continue in private transport to Tiwanaku. Visit to the Akapana Pyramid, the semi subterranean Temple, Kalasasaya Temple, Gate of the Sun, Ponce Monolith, and the entrance to Puma Punku. Continue to Copacabana town.
Transfer to hotel.
DAY 4: TITICACA LAKE & SUN ISLAND – LA PAZ
Pick up from hotel, visit to the church of the Virgen Morena and the local market. Departure in shared speed boat towards the Sun Island. Visit to the Inca Garden, Pilcocaina Palace, Sacred Inca steps and fountain. Return in speed boat to Copacabana and continue by land to La Paz. Transfer to hotel.
DAY 5: FLIGHT LA PAZ – SUCRE
Hotel – airport transfer in La Paz
Transfer airport- hotel Sucre. Hotel.
City tour at 14:30. We visit the Liberty House, San Felipe viewpoint, 25 Mayo main square, St. Francis Xavier University, Law University building, San Miguel Church, City Hall building, central market.
DAY 6: TARABUCO MARKET
Breakfast. trip to TARABUCO at 9:00, located 64 km from Sucre in Yamparaez province, it is one of the most important indigenous center of attraction for its dances, music, outfits and traditions that have been maintained in time until today. Lunch. Return to Sucre. Transfer to the hotel
DAY 7: TRIP TO POTOSI. MINE
Trip Sucre- Potosi. Immediately we leave towards the miner’s market where the guide explains about the uses, customs and traditions of the miners with the coca, dynamite, etc. Then we visit a mine in the “Cerro Rico” of Potosí, there we will see the different levels that a mine can have. We will also see how sacrificed is the miners’ work, an average of the age they die because of the asbestos inside the mines is 57 years. There are altars made by the miners, where they make offerings to the Devil. Return to the city.

DAY 8: CITY TOUR. TRIP TO UYUNI
City tour: we visit the Mint, Cobija Arch, San Lorenzo Church, Central Market, San Francisco viewpoint, Main Square, La Merced Church, Compañia de Jesús Tower. Santa Teresa museum. Lunch. Pm trip to Uyuni.
Transfer to hotel.
DAY 9: SALT FLAT ALL DAY
We visited the train cemetery where we found rusty locomotives and wagons, which where once used by mining companies to transport minerals to the coastal ports.
The Uyuni salt flats is located at a height of 3650 meter above sea level, composed of sodium chloride, lithium and magnesium. Both the dry season and the rainy season offer stunning views, plus the Inka Wasi island covered with incredible giant cacti and strange land formations.
