We leave Santa Cruz, visit the temple of San Jose de Chiquitos founded by the Jesuits of the company of Jesus in 1698 and anhabited by the “Jamaros and Piñocas”, indigenous groups. This settlement was located near the mountains of “La Riquio” and “Santa Cruz la vieja” where the capital of “cruceños” was originally founded. San Jose has the only temple completely built in stone showing a typical style of the missions of Paraguay and the north of Argentina.

In the afternoon to CHOCHIS “wind fury” which is located 360  kilometers from the city of Santa Cruz, in the beautiful region of “la chiquitana” known worldwide for its scenic beauty and diversity of vegetation flora and fauna. “Mariano de la Torre sanctuary”, built at the foot of chochis hill in 1979. It is an original sanctuary that shows the ethnic roots of a town and its cultural wealth. Dinner rest in the hotel Santiago de Chiquitos or Robore (by choise)
