Itinerary
DAY 1: TRANSFER AIRPORT TO HOTEL TO SUCRE
Selected hotel airport transfer.
CITY TOUR HALF DAY
Approximately three hours.
We visit the main museums of the city combining history, textiles, ethnography and folklore with the most representative outdoors sites such as plazas, and parks, as well as the architecture.
City Tour visiting:
Textile Museum of Indian Arts ASUR, located in a beautiful colonial neighborhood in Sucre, run by Antropologos del Surandino (ASUR), this excellent museum displays of regional textiles and traditional techniques . This program starts with the goal of revitalizing the traditional Tarabuco and Jalq’a textile areas. It exhibits traditional and contemporary textile production, a valuable Tiahuanaco collection and two music and dances halls.
Liberty House, formerly the Assembly Hall of the Jesuit University, where the country’s Declaration of Independence was signed, this house contains a famous portrait of Simon Bolivar. Its construction dates from 1621 as part of the Jesuits convent, later made a part of the building of the University, is the most important national historic landmark. It was a private chapel of the Jesuits and auditorium of the University.

Liberty House, ASUR textile museum, Recoleta Convent and Museum, San Felipe Nery viewpoint (Liberty House is closed Monday), Cathedral museum.
DAY 2: TARABUCO INDIGENUS MARKET
Although many visitors may miss the annual Phujllay celebrations in March, you will want to catch Tarabuco’s colorful, sprawling Sunday Market, which features high quality artesania: pullovers, charangos, coca pouches, ponchos and weavings that feature geometric and zoomorphic designs. The colorful wares lay out in stalls around the plaza and on the side streets lend a festive and a light – hearted atmosphere. Men wear distinctive monteras, which are leather hats patterned after those worn by the conquistadores. This is one of the only places where one can still see and participate in trueque (barter) exchanges.
DAY 3: POTOSI -TUPIZA
Trip Sucre – Potosi. We leave towards the miner’s market where the guide explains about the uses, customs and traditions of the miners with the coca, dynamite, etc. Then we visit a mine in the “Cerro Rico” of Potosí, there we will see the different levels that a mine can have. We will also see how sacrificed is the miners’ work, an average of the age they die because of the asbestos inside the mines is 57 years. There are altars made by the miners, where they make offerings to the Devil. Return to the city. Lunch
Pm , we visit the Mint, Cobija Arch, San Lorenzo Church, Central Market, San Francisco viewpoint, main square, La Merced Church, Compañia de Jesús Tower.
Continue trip to Tupiza. Transfer to hotel
DAY 4: TUPIZA SAN PABLO DE LIPEZ
At 07:30 we leave La Poronga, a gentle walk, then we go to Quebrada seca, where we observe rock formations of different colors in interesting ways such as Cañon del Duende, we continue to Toroyoj, were find de San Juan Del Oro river. Refreshment.
Pm we continue visiting Quebrada de Palmira where we find the Devil´s Gate, the valley of the Males, in the background the find the Inca Canyon, on the return we find the Quebrada de Palala, Nazarenos, chilcobija, Cerrillos, Polulos, rio San Pablo de Lipez.
Transfer to Sumaj Jallp´a accommodation. Dinner
DAY 5: SAN PABLO- RED LAGOON
Breakfast. In the morning you will visit the colonial ruins of San Antonio Viejo or Ghost town, Morejon lagoon, Quetena, Chalviri hot springs, Polques lagoon, Green Lagoon (at the food of the Llicancabur volcano (5900m), Daly desert, (5000m) Geiser or sol de mañana, red lagoon, (with 3 kinds of flamingos), siloli desert, stone stree.
Transfer to Ojo de Perdiz. Accommodation. Dinner
DAY 6: MINOR LAGOONS – SALT FLAT
Tour the Ramaditas lagoon, Honda lagoon, Chiar khota lagoon, cañapa lagoon (all with flamencos population), Ollague volcano, salar de chiguana. We enter the great salt of Uyuni – fish island (inka wasi) ascent panoramic view of the salar and thunupa volcano, we observe giant cacti, fossil remains of seaweed, we continue by extracting block of sal from the salt flats. Sunset in the salt flat.
Transfer to salt hotel. Dinner
DAY 7: TRANSFER
Transfer salt hotel to Uyuni, visit the train cemetery, where we observe locomotives and rusted wagons, then transfer to airport.
