Itinerary
DAY 2: TIWANAKU & CITY TOUR AND MOON VALLEY
Pick up from hotel and ride to the city of El Alto on the Cable Car enjoying the landscapes of both cities through the skies. Continue in private transport to Tiwanaku. Visit to the Akapana Pyramid, the semi subterranean Temple, Kalasasaya Temple, Gate of the Sun, Ponce Monolith, and the entrance to Puma Punku.
Continue to visit through La Paz secrets to enjoy the art of embroideres of typical costumes used in local festivities during the whole year in the city and its surroundings. Afterwards we will visit the historic downtown, observing some of the most important sites in the city, Plaza Murillo, the executive palace, the legislative palace, Methropolitan cathedral, Jaen street, (historic street that still preserves its colonial essence), a journey through the history of Bolivia in the museum of Ethnography and Folklore, San Francisco church, and the famous Witches Market. After lunch we continue with an out-of –this world visit in the Moon Valley and appreciate and aerial view of the city from the cable car. Tour ends in hotel
DAY 3: FLIGHT LA PAZ – SUCRE
Transfer hotel –airport to La Paz.
Transfer airport- hotel to Sucre
CITY TOUR HALF DAY
Approximately three hours.
We visit the main museums of the city combining history, textiles, ethnography and folklore with the most representative outdoors sites such as plazas, and parks, as well as the architecture.
City Tour visiting:
Textile Museum of Indian Arts ASUR, located in a beautiful colonial neighborhood in Sucre, run by Antropologos del Surandino (ASUR), this excellent museum displays of regional textiles and traditional techniques . This program starts with the goal of revitalizing the traditional Tarabuco and Jalq’a textile areas. It exhibits traditional and contemporary textile production, a valuable Tiahuanaco collection and two music and dances halls.
Liberty House, formerly the Assembly Hall of the Jesuit University, where the country’s Declaration of Independence was signed, this house contains a famous portrait of Simon Bolivar. Its construction dates from 1621 as part of the Jesuits convent, later made a part of the building of the University, is the most important national historic landmark. It was a private chapel of the Jesuits and auditorium of the University.

DAY 4: TRIP SUCRE-POTOSI. CITY TOUR & EXCURSION TO MINE
Trip Sucre – Potosi. We leave towards the miner’s market where the guide explains about the uses, customs and traditions of the miners with the coca, dynamite, etc. Then we visit a mine in the “Cerro Rico” of Potosí, there we will see the different levels that a mine can have. We will also see how sacrificed is the miners’ work, an average of the age they die because of the asbestos inside the mines is 57 years. There are altars made by the miners, where they make offerings to the Devil. Return to the city. Lunch
Pm , we visit the Mint, Cobija Arch, San Lorenzo Church, Central Market, San Francisco viewpoint, main square, La Merced Church, Compañia de Jesús Tower.

DAY 5: KARI KARI ARTIFICIAL LAGOONS. TRIP UYUNI
The lagoons of Kari Kari at a height of 4,900 meters above see level, located on the slopes of the mountain range that bears the same name located 13 kilometers from the city of Potosi its constructions lasted almost half a century (1563- 1590), and participated in she about 20.000 natives by order of viceroy Francisco Toledo.
It is one of the largest engineering works in the world built in the colonial era, connected to each other through a perfect system of properly channeled hydraulic distribution that takes advantage of the decline to Potosi and guarantee the water supply, to approximately 100 mills miners that were built along the Rivera river. Return to city.
In addition to taking a tour of ruins mills that were built after 1574, materials (Cal y canto y piedra bolona) 400 years passed and are still stable.
Laguna Chalviri was the first to be built 1563, later San Sebastian and San Ildefonso in 1576 Enjoy high mountain landscape flora and fauna typical of the area, such as straw, yareta, kiswara, llamas and sheep.
Potosi Uyuni trip will experience a beautiful tour and you will cross the great branches of the Andes mountain range with many colors, we will pass through native population such as Agua de Castilla, Pelka, T´ika T´ika, Pulacayo mining center in which we find the first locomotive that transported ore to the Pacific coast. Arrival to Uyuni, visit the train cemetery where we find rusty locomotives and wagons that at some point transported minerals to the pacific coast. We enter Colchani. Transfer to Luna salada Hotel or similar. Dinner.
DAY 6: GRUTA GALAXIA. SUNSET.
Departure from hotel where the salt is iodized using traditional methods- Incahuasi Island. Lunch. Trip to towards Galaxia Cave, Devil’s Cave. Sunset in the world´s largest salt flat.
Transfer to salt hotel. Dinner
DAY 7: SALT – COQUESA- CHANTANI.
Breakfast. Visit to Coquesa chullpares (mummies) – Thunupa volcano. Chantani. Return to Uyuni. Transfer to airport
Transfer airport- hotel to La Paz
DAY 8: LA PAZ – TITICACA LAKE- SUNISLAND
Trip to Copacabana. Pick up from hotel. Lunch. In the afternoon. Departure in shared speed boat towards the Sun Island. Visit to the Inca Garden, Pilcocaina Palace, Sacred Inca steps and fountain. Return in speed boat to Copacabana. Transfer to hotel
DAY 9: COPACABANA – LA PAZ
Breakfast. Visit to the church of the Virgen Morena and the local market, and continue by land to La Paz. Transfer to hotel.
